Everyone has MacBook's don't they? Or do they? No really! There are some pretty nifty alternatives, believe us!
The below discusses some realistic and decent alternatives (as an FYI these are Windows 10 alternatives):
1. Dell XPS
Yes - its that good. Its a beast of a machine. Especially if you must have a 13-inch screen.
Its light, slick and looks cool and the battery life is something to behold. The price is also around half of what you'd pay for a MacBook pro.
If you're concerned about the power payload too - don't be, the 2018 XPS 13 features Intel 8th Gen Core i processors and the screen is gorgeous. You can also upgrade to a 4k display - which the MacBook cannot match.
2. ThinkPad X1 Carbon
This is a perfect work laptop and comes considerably cheaper than a MacBook.
Lenovo manages to deliver an experience that the MacBook simply cannot match. The keyboard is a marvel and the machine is thin, light and ships in a stylish midnight black.
The best version comes with a HDR support screen that looks simply beautiful. Not to mention the built in Alexa voice controls that makes it state of the art.
3. HP Spectre X360 15
Much cheaper than a MacBook Pro and delivers in all the important areas including the most modern processors.
As well as including some other cool features such as a touch screen (annoyingly with a stylus) and you can use it as a tablet.
HP has committed to 13.5 hours of battery on this machine with the ability to tune up to 4k displays and up to 16GB of RAM - making it one to consider if you're in the market for a 15 inch screen.
4. Surface Laptop 2
This thing is Microsoft's flagship beast and it delivers on being an alternative to the MacBook Pro.
Its design is slick, sharp and ships in a rainbow range of colours and still much cheaper than a MacBook Pro.
In terms of processing it delivers 8th gen Intel Core Processors, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage.
The 13.5 inch PixelSense display looks gorg, with a touchsreen and a surface pen with the ambitious promise of 14.5 hours of battery life!
